WILDOMAR – In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the staff at Animal Friends of the Valleys was surprised Thursday, Feb. 13, with a grant investment in the amount of $250,000 from the Petco Foundation, providing crucial funding to help local pets in need.The surprise celebration was part of the more than $10 million in grant investments that the Petco Foundation will be committing to animal welfare organizations across the country as part of their annual investment process to find and invest in the most effective lifesaving animal welfare organizations nationwide.
