The Temecula Valley Unified School District’s governing board recognized local PTA members, approved a new class and approved job descriptions for two new positions in the district at its Feb. 18 meeting.In honor of Parent Teacher Association’s Founders Day, which was Feb. 17, the board approved a resolution to “recognize February as TVUSD’s PTA month and to celebrate the Temecula Valley Council PTA members who have contributed more than 165,000 volunteer hours yearly to benefit the students of TVUSD.”The board approved a new “Critical Studies of Comics” course at Temecula Valley High School.
