KEC Engineering has been awarded the contract to repair and restore the spillway infrastructure for the Leach Canyon Dam in Lake Elsinore.A 5-0 Riverside County Board of Supervisors vote Feb. 25 awarded a $728,819 contract to the Corona company while waiving a minor bid irregularity which did not affect the competitive bid process or the price. The county supervisors act as the board of the county’s Flood Control and Water Conservation District, and it was in that capacity that the contract was awarded.A February 2019 storm damaged the spillway of the dam at the end of Amorose Street.
