HS Baseball: Local teams hit the field as Southwestern League action gets underway
Spring is here, well, almost, but spring high school sports are definitely here, and this week marked the start of league games all over the valley. In the Southwestern League, the dogfight has begun. Great Oak came out swinging against Temecula Valley, firing up their offense in the first inning, when Martin Castillo’s sac fly scored two runs for the Wolfpack. Great Oak (7-3) took the lead for good with one run in the fourth inning, when Castillo singled on a 1-1 count, scoring another run, giving the Pack a 7-6 lead, which would be the final.Jacob Mantiply got the win for the Wolfpack. He allowed
