In response to California Governor Gavin Newsom's announcement that all California residents are to stay at home for all but essential tasks in order to maintain social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID 19, Murrieta City Manager Kim Summers signed an Emergency Declaration this evening, March 19.The proclamation of a local emergency does not signify an increased risk to the residents of Murrieta.
