RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The second storm system of the week will make its way into southern California tonight, but this system will bring much less rain than the last one.
The low-pressure system currently off the coast of central California will make its way south, bringing cooler weather and periods of showers through Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service. No showers are expected in the Coachella Valley for the duration of the storm.
Rainfall totals through Friday morning are expected to reach three-tenths of an inch in the mountains, one-tenth of an inch in the Riverside metropolitan area and two-tenths of an inch in the San Gorgonio Pass near Banning.
The chance of measurable precipitation tonight is 20% in the Riverside metropolitan area and the San Gorgonio Pass nea
