Man, 23, arrested for attempted murder outside French Valley home

FRENCH VALLEY - A man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after deputies found him with a firearm and a woman with gunshot wounds outside of a French Valley home late Tuesday.It happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 34000 block of Shallot Drive, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Edmond Seltzer.Deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the area and discovered the man on the street in possession of a firearm, who was taken into ustody without incident Seltzer said. Deputies also found a woman with gunshot injuries, who was taken by paramedics to a local hospital, where she was receiving treatment for her injuries.The suspect, 23-year-old Ryan Curtis, of French Valley, was booked into the nearby Cois M.
