RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped today to its lowest amount since Aug. 3, 2017, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $2.899.The average price has dropped 33 consecutive days, decreasing 56.7 cents, including 1.2 cents on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.The average price is 10.4 cents below one week ago, 55.8 cents lower than one month ago and 84.1 cents below what it was one year ago. It has decreased 60.9 cents since the start of the year.The 2017 average included stations in San Bernardino County.The dropping prices are a result of weakened demand as many people heed stay-at-home orders, coupled with the ongoing oil price war between Saudi Arabia and Russia,
