4 dead in apparent murder-suicide in Menifee

MENIFEE - Sheriff's deputies found four people dead, including a suspect, inside a Menifee home after an apparent murder-suicide, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday.The killings happened Monday afternoon at a home in the 31000 block of Sherman Road, according to sheriff's Sgt. Richard Carroll.Deputies responded to the home just before 4 p.m. for a report of a domestic violence incident, and came into a contact with a man who "refused to exit the house and told deputies he had shot his family," Carroll said.The deputies at the scene tried to negotiate with the man to surrender, but he refused.
