SAN JACINTO (CNS) - Roughly 200 students from Mt. San Jacinto College will be equipped with computers they otherwise couldn't afford in order to continue receiving instruction while at home amid the coronavirus pandemic, campus officials said today. Mt. San Jacinto College, which also operates a satellite location in Menifee, stopped in-person classes on March 16 in response to the county public health officer's directive shuttering all public and private schools as a COVID-19 mitigation measure. The college reopened last week as an online educational institution, providing livestreams and archived internet-based lessons covering 99% of its classes. Mt.
