Man suspected of attempted bank robbery arrested
MORENO VALLEY (CNS) - A 30-year-old man who allegedly threatened to blow up a Moreno Valley bank during a robbery attempt remained jailed today in lieu of $30,000, sheriff's officials said.The robbery occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Friday at a U.S. Bank in the 25900 block of Iris Avenue, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.Sheriff's officials said Anthony Fucher of Moreno Valley walked into the bank wearing dark sunglasses and a bandanna across his face and allegedly passed a note to a bank teller that said he would "blow up'' the bank if he didn't receive a large sum of money.However, after the bank manager intervened, Fucher left the bank in a silver sedan, according to Sgt. Jose Ayala.Investigators later tracked down Fucher and he was arrested that night
