Voters encouraged to vote in tomorrow’s 28th Senate District mail ballot election


Tuesday, May 12, is Election Day for residents registered to vote in the 28th Senate District mail ballot election.

The election will be conducted completely by mail, so there will be no established polling places. Please go to the Registrar of Voters’ website at for ballot drop off locations and in-person voting opportunities. You may also cast a ballot in the Registrar of Voters office on Election Day between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. The Registrar of Voters office is located at 2720 Gateway Drive in Riverside.  Please call (951) 486-7200 if you need to schedule an appointment to vote in person.

All ballots must be in the possession of the Registrar of Voters Office no later than the close of polls on Election Day or be postmarked on or before Election Day and received no later than three days after Election Day to be counted.

The May 12 election encompasses only the 28th Senate District and is not a countywide election.  If you have any questions about your eligibility to vote, please contact the registrar’s office at (951) 486-7200.
