The city of Menifee announced a planned 55-hour closure of the Scott Road and Interstate 215 interchange from Friday, May 29 through Monday, June 1. All freeway ramps will be closed and Scott Road will be closed to through traffic. Drivers are asked to use Newport Road as an alternative route.Beginning on Friday, May 29 at 10 p.m. through Monday, June 1 at 5 a.m. The following will be closed for the entire 55-hours:
- All interchange on- and off-ramps;
- Scott Road, including the overpass bridge, from Haun to Antelope roads;
- Antelope Road from Scott to Garbani roads may close as early as 8 p.m., expect lane closures and flagging operations at the intersection of Scott and Antelope roads;
