Deputies bust indoor cannabis cultivation site in Lake Elsinore

LAKE ELSINORE (CNS) - More than 1,300 marijuana plants being grown inside a Lake Elsinore residence were seized by Riverside County sheriff's deputies as part of an ongoing crackdown on illegal cultivation sites in the area, authorities said today. Deputies were alerted to the illegal grow earlier this month by undisclosed sources, and an investigation was initiated that culminated with a search warrant served Wednesday at the home in the 17600 block of Brightman Avenue, near Grand Avenue, according to sheriff's Sgt. Glenn Warrington.
