Protesters carry out peaceful rallies in Moreno Valley, La Quinta

MORENO VALLEY (CNS) - The city of Moreno Valley is the only city in Riverside County under a curfew early this morning, with city officials citing public safety concerns as the reason.The curfew went into effect at 8 p.m. Tuesday night and was scheduled to be in force until 6 a.m. Wednesday.In the hours leading up to the curfew, hundreds of people assembled at Moreno Valley Community Park protested the death of George Floyd by a police officer in Minnesota as Riverside County Sheriff's deputies stood by in riot gear.The rally began at 4:30 p.m. and lasted until shortly before 8 p.m. with protesters peacefully departing the area, the Press Enterprise reported.Demonstrators were told at 7:45 p.m. by a sheriff's lieutenant that the 8 p.m. curfew would be imposed and if the pro
