The Anza Community Hall board of directors will host an open meeting Thursday, June 4, at 6 p.m. at the Hall. The public is encouraged to attend. “The Anza Community Hall is at risk of shutting down for good,” Hall president Mike Patke said. “We need the community’s help by attending this meeting to share your ideas to help keep the Community Hall alive and operating. This has always been the first place that families to come for assistance. Remember the Cranston Fire? Please do not discount this as anything other than an emergency meeting. Let’s fill the building.” The Community Hall, a centerpiece of Anza, has always been available to rent for special occasions such as weddings, quinceañeras, parties and more. The Anza swap meet takes place in the Hall’s parking lot.
