MENIFEE (CNS) - A fire next to a Menifee home culminated in authorities uncovering an indoor marijuana grow where more than 450 plants were being cultivated and nearly 200 pounds of processed cannabis was stored, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. Sheriff's Sgt. Dave Tinker said the blaze in the 25000 block of Antelope Road, near Mapes Road, erupted about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and spread ``dangerously close'' to the single-story residence, which deputies believed was occupied. Law enforcement officers went into the house to ensure it was evacuated and immediately spotted ``large quantities of cultivated marijuana and numerous marijuana plants,'' Tinker said.
