Temecula unveils temporary expanded dining/retail program with new parking lots to support business

TEMECULA – Shop and dine, outside! To support Temecula businesses impacted by COVID-19, the city of Temecula is offering temporary outdoor expansion opportunities to restaurants and retail establishments to assist in their safe reopening. As part of this effort, beginning Wednesday, June 24, 2020, portions of Old Town Front Street will temporarily close to vehicular traffic to allow businesses an opportunity to expand their footprint within the public right-of-way onto sidewalks and into the street for dining and shopping. Newly formed pedestrian centers in Old Town, created by the street closures, are based on the level of localized business participation and may remain in place until the State of California removes restrictions on occupancy and social distancing. To support this
