Deputies seek suspect in Temecula hit-and-run

Sheriff's deputies are continuing to seek information on the whereabouts of a driver who allegedly took off after a crash on a Temecula overpass Wednesday afternoon. The collision, which sent the other driver to a hospital with major injuries, was reported just before 3 p.m. on Rancho California Road at the Interstate 15 bridge, according to information from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. Deputies arriving at the scene found a Jeep Patriot overturned in westbound lanes of the roadway, just west of the southbound freeway off-ramp, sheriff's Sgt. Raemie Wood said in a statement.
