Spread of 55-acre brush fire halted near Anza

Firefighters are working to completely contain a wildfire that broke out near Anza this afternoon.The blaze, dubbed the "Indian Fire" was reported just before 3:30 p.m. near Tripp Flats and Wheeler roads, and was burning about five acres by 3:48 p.m., according to information from Cal Fire Riverside. An hour later, the fire was reported at 45 acres. The area is due north of Cahuilla Casino.At 5:45 p.m., Cal Fire Riverside reported that the forward spread of the fire had been stopped, and the fire was holding at 55 acres with 5% containment. It was then reported at 35% containment a little after 7 p.m. Crews remained at the scene and were working to fully contain the fire.A total of 26 fire engines, along with two bulldozers, five air tankers an three water tenders, were working
