RIVERSIDE (CNS) - A health insurance plan that contracts with the federal and state governments, serving more than 1 million Inland Empire residents, has supplied tens of thousands of respiratory masks, surgical gowns, sanitation wipes and other personal protective equipment to health care entities in Riverside County to safeguard staff against coronavirus exposure, it was announced on Friday. The Inland Empire Health Plan, one of the largest Medicare-Medicaid providers in the country, donated almost 2.5 million PPE units in recent weeks, distributing products to the Riverside County Medical Association, the Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley and the county Department of Public Health. ``Fighting COVID-19 is a collaborative effort,'' IEHP CEO Jarrod McNaughton said. ``P
