Judicial Watch makes statement on Supreme Court Ruling regarding sex discrimination

WASHINGTON – Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton made the following statement about the Monday, June 15, decision by the United States Supreme Court regarding sex discrimination: “The Supreme Court undermined the rule of law today. In expanding the ban of sex discrimination in the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include sexual orientation and gender identity, the court engaged in an abuse of power by legislating from the bench. “There has been a yearslong battle by left to change federal law to bar discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
