Blaze damages Elsinore home, occupants escape unharmed

LAKE ELSINORE (CNS) - A blaze that erupted Monday in a Lake Elsinore home occupied by four people and several dogs damaged the upper floor of the structure and displaced the residents and their pets. The non-injury blaze was reported at 4:40 p.m. in the 30000 block of Audelo Street, near Grand Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. A half dozen engine crews were sent to the location and encountered smoke billowing out of the two-story house, from which three men and a woman, along with three or more dogs, escaped just prior to firefighters' arrival. Crews battled the flames for about 30 minutes before gaining the upper hand.
