RIVERSIDE (CNS) - Triple-digit temperatures are expected to continue Saturday in the Riverside County metropolitan area, the San Gorgonio Pass near Banning and the Coachella Valley as a result of a heatwave that will keep those areas scorching hot through Monday. Temperatures are expected to top out at 102 in Lake Elsinore and 99 in Temecula. A strong system of high pressure is building over Arizona and New Mexico, ushering in sweltering heat in most of Southern California through Monday, forecasters said.
