TEMECULA – Actor Bill Veale performed Jose Estudillo, one of the first San Jacinto Valley pioneers, in a special Zoom presentation Monday, July 27, sponsored by the Temecula Valley Historical Society. The Evening with Jose Estudillo, performed by Veale, delighted the many Zoom participants who were originally hoping to enjoy a live performance that was canceled at Vail Headquarters due to the latest changes in the coronavirus pandemic regulations. José Estudillo was a husband and father of 12 children. He was a horse trainer, influential rancher in the San Jacinto Valley and lived under three countries that governed California during his lifetime – Spain, Mexico and the United States.
