MORENO VALLEY (CNS) - A wildfire that erupted Thursday on the edge of the Lake Perris State Recreation Area scorched roughly five acres before crews stopped it with the help of Cal Fire aircraft. The non-injury ``Doral Fire'' was reported just before 10 a.m. near the intersection of Doral Way and Championship Drive, on the northwest perimeter of the recreation grounds bordering Moreno Valley, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. Twelve engine crews and four hand crews, numbering about 100 personnel, were sent to the blaze and encountered flames burning at a moderate rate in heavy vegetation.
