Monday, Aug. 24, Lake Elsinore Unified School District announced at 9 a.m. to parents that a meeting and webinar outage on the video conferencing platform Zoom was causing issues pertaining to virtual learning.
"Due to a global Zoom outage experienced on Monday, August 24, LEUSD students will receive instructions from your site principal and/or teacher(s) for classroom assignments and individual classwork separately this morning. Please check your school web site, email, and ParentSquare for this important information," the statement read.
By 9:15 a.m., however, Zoom announced on its social media channels that the issue had been resolved and all meeting functions were restored.
