Riverside County HQ to reopen to public after two-month closure due to COVID-19

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The County Administrative Center in downtown Riverside will reopen to the public after Labor Day weekend, following what will by then have been a nine-week closure due to coronavirus concerns, it was announced Thursday, Aug. 27. On Tuesday, Sept. 8, residents will once again be able to enter the headquarters building at 4080 Lemon St. for in-person visits to the Office of the Treasurer-Tax Collector, the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and other agencies. ``Upon arriving at a county facility, community members and employees will be asked if they are feeling well or have any COVID-like symptoms,'' according to an Executive Office statement. ``Face coverings are required for everyone to enter.
