Mobile home, garage in Homeland damaged by fire

HEMET (CNS) - Firefighters extinguished a fire in a double-wide mobile home and garage in the unincorporated Homeland area near Hemet Wednesday, Oct. 14 in 35 minutes. Crews responded to the 25000 block of Grey Hawk Trail at 9:48 p.m. and discovered both structures well-involved with fire, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. The flames were extinguished at 10:25 p.m. and no injuries were reported, the department said. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
