Riverside County reports 306 new COVID-19 cases, two deaths Wednesday

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - Riverside County health officials reported 306 newly confirmed coronavirus cases and two additional virus-related deaths Wednesday, Oct. 28, along with a drop in hospitalizations connected to COVID-19. The aggregate number of COVID-19 infections recorded since the public health documentation period began in early March is 67,299, compared to 66,993 on Tuesday, according to the Riverside University Health System. The virus-related death toll now stands at 1,305, officials said. The number of known active virus cases countywide is 5,822, up 41 from Tuesday.
