The Anza Community Hall board of directors hosted an open meeting Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Hall. Discussion revealed event cancellations due to current health orders due to the coronavirus pandemic.Board members Noel Donahue, Dan Robinson and Barbara Ann Keller were present, while Mike Patke and Birdie Kopp were unable to attend.There will be no free community Christmas or Thanksgiving dinners, according to the board. Also, the Christmas activities which are held inside the Hall are canceled. The Christmas Tree Lighting may still occur, the board said, as it can be held within the framework of the mandates.
