Teen robbery suspect arrested in Lake Elsinore

LAKE ELSINORE (CNS) - A teenager accused of brandishing a pellet gun during a group robbery was arrested in Lake Elsinore, and authorities on Sunday were searching for the remaining suspects, sheriff's officials said. Deputies received a report that two people were robbed by five or six men, two of whom pointed guns at them, at about 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of East Lakeshore Drive, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. The victims told investigators that personal property had been taken from them during the robbery. Deputies searched the area and found a 16-year-old boy matching one of the suspect descriptions in a nearby residential neighborhood, said Sgt. Rick Garcia.
