Small fire contained at Lake Elsinore strip mall

Firefighters quickly doused a blaze at a Lake Elsinore strip mall Wednesday night, authorities said. The fire broke out about 8:20 p.m. in the 31000 block of Corydon Road, according to Cal Fire Riverside on Twitter. The area is just north of the Wildomar city boundary. Fire crews arrived at the scene to find a small blaze that activated sprinklers in one unit of a single-story building in the strip mall. The blaze was contained just before 9 p.m., and there were no injuries, according to Cal Fire. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
