Charges expected against man accused in deadly home invasion robbery

MURRIETA (CNS) - Felony charges are expected to be filed Thursday against one of three men who allegedly forced their way into a La Cresta home the day after Christmas and attempted to rob the residents, culminating in a gunfight during which an assailant and an occupant of the home were killed. Dong Yang, 33, was arrested in Temple City, in Los Angeles County, last Saturday following a Riverside County sheriff's investigation that pointed to him as the alleged driver during and after the break-in. Yang was booked into the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of first-degree robbery and home invasion. He's being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.
