Average Riverside County gas price rises for 21st time in 22 days

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose a half-cent today to $3.335, its highest amount since March 15, one day after a 20-day streak of increases ended when it dropped two-tenths of a cent. The average price has risen 15.5 cents over the past 22 days, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 4.8 cents higher than one week ago and 18.2 cents more than one month ago but 15.9 cents less than one year ago. The 20-day streak of increases was the longest since a 23-day streak from May 6-28.
