Anza pets play in the snow, following recent storm

The recent winter storm that blew into the Anza Valley and dropped several inches of snow, slowing commuters and residents, offered outdoor fun for local pets. Dogs and cats frolicked, while horses and other outdoor animals rolled in the new snow as the animals’ owners snapped pictures. From wonderment and curiosity to total excitement, many of Anza's pets were thoroughly entertained by the results of the storm. The storm system that pushed through the Inland Empire Friday, Jan. 29, produced periodic intense rain and snowfall. In Idyllwild, several inches of fresh snow fell, sticking to Highway 243 between Banning and Mountain Center, prompting the California Highway Patrol to enforce snow chain
