Man accused of threatening to kill woman, children while barricaded in home
RIVERSIDE (CNS) - A man who allegedly threatened to kill a woman and her children while barricaded in a home near Riverside was arrested early this morning.
Deputies responded to the domestic violence call about 12:45 a.m. in the 17000 block of First Light in the unincorporated community of Lake Hills, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Soon after the deputies arrived, the woman and her children were able to escape the home to safety but the man remained inside.
After multiple unsuccessful attempts at getting the suspect to exit
the home, deputies entered the residence and arrested him without using force, sheriff's officials said.
No injuries were reported.
Authorities did not provide the name of the suspect, nor his relationship to the victims.
