Menifee Police Department debuts new community crime mapping tool

MENIFEE – The Menifee Police Department introduced a new crime mapping tool to the Menifee community Wednesday, Feb. 3, which places a high value on both transparency and community involvement in policing. Crime mapping allows community members to see where in the city crimes are occurring. By knowing where crimes are taking place and the general types of crimes happening, residents and businesses can be aware of what to look out for and report any suspicious activity to the Menifee Police Department.
