TVEA, which represents the teachers, nurses, counselors, social workers, psychologists and speech pathologists of the Temecula Valley Unified School District, has been planning with the district since March 2020 for a potential return to in-person instruction. We have worked vigorously in a collaborative manner with district administration to ensure that when allowable, this transition will be successful for both students and staff. First and foremost, TVEA members desire to teach and provide services to their students in-person. Our 1,325 teachers and specialists miss the in-person teaching and learning they were accustomed to which was abruptly halted by the COVID-19 pandemic in March.
