Firefighters stop progress of San Jacinto brush fire Sunday evening
SAN JACINTO (CNS) - Firefighters stopped the forward progress of a brush fire in San Jacinto at seven acres Sunday evening.The blaze that scorched seven acres in the 21700 block of Duncan Drive was reported at 5:28 p.m. Sunday, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.Firefighters needed nearly two and a half hours to stop the forward progress, the department reported.No injuries were reported and the cause of the brush fire remained under investigation.
