Daylight saving time in California will begin at 2 a.m. Pacific Standard Time Sunday, March 14, and will end at 2 a.m. Pacific Standard Time Sunday, Nov. 7. Daylight saving time, or DST, is the practice of setting clocks forward one hour from standard time during the summer months, and back again in autumn, to make better use of natural daylight.
