Probationer accused of sexually assaulting woman sunbathing in Temecula backyard

A probationer accused of stripping naked and sexually assaulting two sunbathing women in Temecula was behind bars Thursday, March 4, on $500,000 bail. Jacob Brian Paulsen, 25, was arrested and booked Tuesday into the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of felony sexual assault and committing a felony while on bail. Deputies were sent to a home in the 41000 block of Zinfandel Avenue about 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Sgt. Edmond Seltzer said two victims reported that a man entered the backyard of a home naked and “sexually assaulted two adult females who were sunbathing.” After the alleged incident, the suspect, later identified as Paulsen, got dressed and left on foot.
