TEMECULA – The Temecula Valley Historical Society invites the public to attend at Zoom presentation Monday, March 22, at 6 p.m. when Richard Leste, a trustee, and docent at the Rancho Santa Margarita y Las Flores, will speak about Sgt. Reckless, a decorated veteran of the Korean War. What is remarkable about this veteran is that she was a packhorse that performed acts of service for the United States Marine Corps. Leste served in active duty for the U.S. Marine Corps from 1964 through 1967 and was discharged from active service as a sergeant. Richard Leste will speak about Sgt. Reckless, a packhorse and a veteran of the Korean War, during a Zoom presentation by the Temecula Valley Historical Society. Valley News/Court
