The Eastern Municipal Water District created a community facilities district for the Tierra Del Sol development in French Valley.Eastern’s board voted 5-0, March 3, to establish the community facilities district, authorize up to $8,000,000 of bonded indebtedness, call a landowner election, certify the results of that election and adopt an ordinance to levy a special tax on the property.Meritage Homes plans to build 139 Tierra Del Sol units on 15.41 acres north of Benton Road, south of San Remo Drive, east of Sicily Lane and west of Pourroy Road.
