Temecula’s first post office is the oldest building in Old Town

Rebecca Marshall Farnbach Special to Valley News When visitors stroll through Old Town Temecula, they step into the past, thanks to the visionary efforts of Bob Morris and Tommy Hotchkiss who decided in the late 1970s to make the area distinctively reminiscent of the 1890s. Today, it is sometimes difficult to discern which buildings are old and which merely look old because they are fabricated from old building materials.
