Riverside County reports 9 additional COVID deaths, 67 new cases
RIVERSIDE (CNS) – Nine additional coronavirus deaths have been reported in Riverside County, along with 67 new cases and a slight decline in overall COVID-19 hospitalizations.
According to numbers released Thursday, May 6, the aggregate number of coronavirus cases recorded since the public health documentation period began in March 2020 stands at 298,939, according to the Riverside University Health System, which reported 4,585 total deaths in that time.
There were 70 people countywide hospitalized with coronavirus, two fewer than Wednesday, and that includes 16 intensive care unit patients, a drop of seven from a day earlier.
