The Menifee City Council officially approved the 2021/2022 distribution of $520,026 of federal Community Development Block Grant funds to enhance the housing and living conditions of low- and moderate-income families in the community at its May 5 meeting.The seven nonprofit community based organizations determined to have the greatest need, or help those residents the most in the city, each received $10,000 to $18,000 grants for the upcoming fiscal year.Those organizations receiving a portion of the Housing and Urban Development grants in the Annual Action Plan include: Assistance League of Temecula Valley, $10,000; Boys and Girls Club of Menifee Valley, $10,000; Family Services Association, $10,000; Habitat for Humanity, $10,000; Hospice of the Valley, $10,000; Menifee Valley Comm
