
H.S. Baseball: Bears take down Rams in 10-4 blow-out
The Temecula Valley Golden Bears had all cylinders firing on offense Wednesday, May 19, winning big over Murrieta Mesa 10-4. Murrieta Mesa struck first with a 2-run first inning, but the Golden Bears answered back and took a 4-2 lead in the first inning when sophomore catcher, Zach Anderson, drove in the two go-ahead runs with a single. Murrieta Mesa evened things up at four in the top of the third inning when Caden Byers hit his 14th double of the season, scoring one run.Temecula Valley took the lead for good with five runs in the fourth inning when Rams relief pitcher, Eli Baca, could not find a way to get the hard-hitting Golden Bear offense off the bases.
