New agreement for Old Town Temecula outdoor rink approved

The Temecula City Council approved a new agreement with Seaside Ice LLC, for the Old Town Temecula outdoor ice skating rink.The city council’s 4-0 vote June 22, with James “Stew” Stewart absent, approved a five-year agreement for the rink to operate during December and January. The seasonal rink is in Town Square Park which is in the 41900 block of Main Street.“I like the concept. I like the idea. It’s a great feature to have,” Mayor Pro Tem Matt Rahn said.Rahn desires community sponsors to help defray the city’s cost, which will be $381,055 from 2021-2022 to 2025-2026.
