Residents to speak out on California state business taxes

Valley resident taxpayers will have a virtual opportunity to offer their ideas, suggestions and concerns about fuel, tobacco or cannabis taxes, lead-acid battery or tire fees Thursday, Aug. 12. A 2021 Virtual Taxpayers’ Bill of Rights Meeting will be conducted by the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration at the Taxpayer Bill of Rights (CDTFA) webpage at 9:30 a.m. via Microsoft Teams.
